Where are the schools?

Option 1  Ecela Lima

asdf

Although four hundred years have passed since its foundation, Lima, known as the City of the Kings, has managed to hold onto its traditions from pre-Inca and Inca times.

Our Spanish immersion school in Peru is located on the coast in Lima, in the prestigious neighborhood of Miraflores, just a couple of blocks from the Pacific shore. The weather is comfortable all year round.

Miraflores is a safe, contemporary neighborhood in Lima, with a wide variety of restaurants, hotels, discos, parks, modern shopping centers, beaches and tourist attractions to visit.

Once South America’s richest city, Lima was hailed the City of Kings by Spanish conquistadors….

A mix of colonial heritage and Latin passion, grime and glamour — Lima is a tantalizing appetizer of what Peru has to offer. (Frommer's)

Our building is in a secure and quiet residential zone, convenient to restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. and a popular commercial shopping center.

Ecela Fluency Development System

An Ecela teacher reviews the fundamentals.

Our Spanish course is carefully designed to get you fluent yet without the headaches and frustrations of standard language education:

  • Fundamentals  (2 hours per day, max 8 students per class)  This is the traditional instruction you may have received in college or high school, with a heavy focus on grammar and proper structure.  Here you will develop a solid foundation to speak and write in an educated manner.
  • Conversation (2 hours per day, max 4 students per class)  "Where fluency is made" This crucial aera is usually ignored in traditional education and, unfortunately, in most language schools.  Here you will practice speaking in a supportive, comfortable environment with the helpful feedback of a patient instructor.
  • Real-World Interactions  Your daily communication about town, in your homestay, at the stores, in restaurants, etc. This gives you (1) an idea of how much you are really progressing and (2) an incentive to stay focused in class.  Independent.

Academic coordinator, Rodrigo Lizana, tells you the course objectives.
