Ecela moms are extremely committed to their positions within the school.
These are our “Ecela moms” who treat our students like a child of their own on a daily basis. They take care of them and prepare their meals. They take the time to teach them about the culture and heritage of their country. Ecela moms are extremely committed to their positions within the school.
Para Ecela ellas son nuestras “mamás”, las que dia a dia cuidan de nuestros estudiantes como un hijo más, las que con tanto cariño los atienden y preparan las comidas, las que se preocupan por dar a conocer la cultura y riqueza de su país, las mamás ecela, son unas mamás muy comprometidas con su función dentro de la escuela.
Following these inspections, families are welcomed into Ecela. We invite them to see the school and to share in some of the activities so as to immerse themselves in the Ecela environment. Following this, they are ready to receive their first student as a new family member.
Para seleccionar a las familias estas pasan primero por unas evaluaciones que incluye visitas a las casas. Primero hacemos un filtro de todas las familias interesadas en recibir estudiantes extranjeros, luego programamos visitas con el objetivo de conocer la casa y a las personas que viven en ella, lo más importante es que sean personas amables, que le gusten compartir con gente y que sean muy buena onda.
Después de estas inspecciones les damos la bienvenida a Ecela, las invitamos a conocer la escuela y compartir de algunas actividades para que se integren en el ambiente y después quedan listas para recibir a su primer estudiante y futuro hijo.
Above all, host families should be friendly and easy to get on with and enjoy opening their homes to other people.
This assessment is ongoing and another stage begins to ensure that the excellent ratings of our families are upheld. They all receive evaluations from each student at the end of the program. As well as this, our staff carry out routine visits and inspections to keep in regular contact with each family. To ensure that our families feel supported and continue to enjoy receiving students, we also invite them to participate in various events organized by the school.
Pero ahí no termina todo, porque empieza otra etapa que es la de mantener a nuestras familias con excelentes calificaciones, todas ellas reciben evaluaciones al final del programa de cada estudiante, además de esto nuestro staff hace visitas e inspecciones de rutina para mantener el contacto y hacemos a las familias participes de los eventos que organizamos en las escuelas, asi ellas quedan muy afianzadas y disfrutan mucho recibir estudiantes.
