Dance the Tango
Many students who have attended a Spanish school in Argentina have found that there are a variety of side benefits to spending time in this country. Any trip to South America is guaranteed to be a culturally enriching experience, not to mention a full social calendar. However, when you add learning the tango to the mix this makes the entire trip all the more memorable.
When you study at ECELA’s school in Buenos Aires, you can add on tango courses. What would a typical dance schedule look like? You would receive tango instruction during three weekly lessons. Beyond that you would leave time for three or four nights per week at the milongas, which are the famous tango clubs.
Tango dancing is a wonderful way to stay active while learning Spanish, and you can impress all your friends back home with this sensual, dramatic dance. Or maybe even convince them to take a few lessons with you!

I had planned to go South America, I wanted to travel, meet new people and improve my spanish. I dedided to go to ECELA in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I couldn´t have made a better choice. I signed up for spanish lessons at ECELA for three months. The school is great. You get to know a lot of people, there are levels to everyone and the teachers are really good, you learn Spanish in an interesting way by playing games, watching movies and with discussions. After school they organize activities, you get introduced to the famous mate, you go tango dancing or out clubbing. The city has got it all, the nightlife, cultural life, museums, the restaurants and the opportunity to go travelling in the rest of the country. Don´t worry about going to a new country all by yourself, at ECELA you will meet people from all over the world and make many new friends that you hopefully will keep for the rest of your life, I know I did.
