Does this photo look familiar? It did to me, too, but until I started researching more and learning more about Easter Island, I didn’t understand the history that stood behind it.
Those who visit Chile will most likely consider a trip to Easter Island, with the busy season being between December and March.
It is (quite understandably) an UNESCO World Heritage site, and one that will live you in awe!
The round trip plane ticket between Santiago and Easter Island can be quite costly, but if you get your plane ticket at the right time, it can be as low as $300. Well worth the expense according to those who have visited there.
