I went to ECELA Vina del Mar for 9 weeks. I lived in a shared apartment, which was a 10 minute walk from the school. The first week I didn’t have a flatmate, but the following weeks people from all over the world came. It was a create experience learning about their different cultures. If you like to try Chilean food, you should stay with a family. But if you like to cook, the apartment would be perfect. The school here is small, but I liked that about it. I felt like a little family. The teachers are very nice and my Spanish improved a lot. They helped me to get to know Vina del Mar, Valpo, and the local nightlife. They offered day and night excursions. Sometimes, in my private lessons, we went to lunch or to the beach. That helped me a lot because I wanted to extend my vocabulary. I would love to come back in a few months or years. I hope that ECELA Vina del Mar doesn’t forget me, because I will never forget any of this expercience (plus I have photos, haha).
