A Quick Grammatical Note – Una Nota Gramatical
When a verb is irregular in the first person present of the indicative, this irregularity will be shown also in the conjugation of the present of the subjuntive. See below examples.

decir digo diga, digas, diga, digamos, digan
hacer hago haga, hagas, haga, hagamos, hagan
querer quiero quiera, quieras, quiera, queramos, etc.
jugar juego juegue, juegues, juguemos, etc.
pedir pido pida, pidas, pida, pidamos, pidan, etc.
conducir conduzco conduzca, conduzcas, conduzcamos,
Exceptions: ir, ser, saber y verbs with the “o – ue” change
