What do you mean by “economic” accommodations?
When you look at ECELA’s prices, (http://www.ecela.com/program_2011), you may notice that there are “economic” options listed for Buenos Aires.
What is an “economic” accommodation?
An “economic” accommodation is one that is slightly further from the school, but still under a 40 minute commute via public transportation. The apartments and homestays in these areas are still in safe neighborhoods, and still offer you the comforts of those near the school, but they are less expensive.
Why would I choose “economic”?
Some students enjoy the commute to and from school each day and use that time to do homework, study, listen to music, read, or take a chance to get to know the city better through their window. It also offers a price decrease; around $50 per week for a homestay and around $40 for a shared apartment.
How do I choose “economic” for my accommodation?
When filling out your online form (www.ecela.com/booking.php), just choose the economic option and your price quote will reflect it. If you already have a price quote with standard accommodation, just ask your ECELA representative to change it.
