Meal times in South America are somewhat unique to the continent. Breakfast is generally after waking and before going to work, which is standard. Lunch is usually eaten after the noon hour and is followed by a siesta or break from work. Lunch is a large meal that can hold one over until dinnertime, which can be eaten as late as nine or ten in the evening.
